Kotakethana serial killer Neel Lakshman

Neel Lakshman of Kahawatta who ....

desired raping adult women and looting
 Kotakethana serial killer Neel Lakshman

After a special revelation took place yesterday in courts about the DNA reports of the person who was connected with 7 female murders committed in Kotakethana in Kahawatta, more and more information about him keep streaming in. This
killer is one A. Neel Lakshman of 35 years and is a father of three children. He had earned his living as a labourer. This suspect who wears an innocent look on him has came under suspicion and had been taken into custody in connection with previous murders that took place. However, for lack of evidence he was released from custody.

There have been 18 female killings reported from Kahawaththa and adjoining areas beginning from the year 2008. Some of those had left room for DNA examinations while some have not. According to reports forwarded by Gintec Institute to Pelmadulla Courts yesterday, it was revealed that this person is responsible for 7 killings, based on DNA evidence. However, police suspect that he is someone who is responsible for other murders as well.

This person who could be identified as a 'serial killer' had committed most murders for purposes of looting or raping women, which incidentally leaves a question mark. The majority of women who died under his hands happen to be aged women. In the same way most of them are poverty-stricken women. He was cornered by police on suspicion over the death of Nadan Babu the tea-plucker who was murdered last September 28th in Opatha Estate, Kahawaththa. According to DNA reports, DNA patterns of the murdered two sisters Sethungage Dayawathi and Thilakawathi, the mother and daughter Lecamge Premawathi and Pushpakumari, Siriwardena Mudiyanselage Menike and M. Bandara Menike compromise with the DNA patterns of this suspect, Gintec Institute has confirmed. Male secretions of the suspect had been compared for DNA examination with vaginal secretions obtained from some females subjected to murder.

A bill hook and a pointed knife supposed to have been made use of by the suspect in these killings have been produced in courts by the police. Ten items of clothing worn by the suspect Neel Lakshman too had been produced in courts. The CID made a request from courts to issue a court order for State and private banks and pawn shops in Pelmadulla and Kahawaththa to provide information on the accounts maintained in relation to any articles of jewellery etcetera pawned as having belonged to the females subjected to murder and whether those have been pawned even perhaps with the aid of an accomplice under the name of the suspect, a brother or wife to which request permission was granted.

The suspect had made a request across Attorney-at-Law Mrs. Seetharanjani Wickramapala saying that he wishes to make a secret statement and permission for that too was granted. As the suspect had given a statement in connection with an instance of entering a house in Dimbulwala area and has stabbed and injured a husband and wife, the CID requested courts to name this suspect as the defendant in that lawsuit.

The suspect Neel Lakshman after being produced before Pelmadulla Courts yesterday (15), Mr. Dinesh Lakmal Perera the Pelmadulla Magistrate ordered that he be remanded till the next 29th.

What is this status talk in the Face Book?

"That is not a status talk I had made in anger, don't you about me......."

Wasn't there any matters that hurt your feelings?

" I got to know that some persons who do not know me and do not know what type of a person I am in my personal life had made comments on my personal life.I made the status talk in the Face Book to make them hurt and feel".

Now what type of  comments that they  had made ?

" About my boy friend. Until now I had not said anything about him. Those who do not who he was had just guessed what type of a person he was and had made  arbitrary comments. They had tried  by guessing to give him various types of images. I do not like them .They are  just gossip without much sense at all."

Then now with your status talk was the problem resolved?

" That I do not know. But the groups had sent me messages asking me not to get offended and angry".

If the lover "D" was named these talks would have been avoided?

" Would like to stay on like this and  divulge his  name just before marriage without expecting the former stories again"

The loving "D" has some other names also too?

"I call him " Sudu Ha Patiya" as he is like a white baby  rabbit. He has some other names also".

Difference between Namal's mouth and anus ....

-- Dilan Perera
Difference between Namal's mouth and anus ....

Explaining about a decision of a certain section of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party voting partially for the budget, Minister Dilan Perera has subjected former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and MP Namal Rajapaksa to serious criticism.

This is what he said on that occasion:
"Namal Rajapaksa still thinks that this Party belongs to his father. I sympathise with him by respecting his age. He now speaks about deals. Of course everybody gets involved in political deals. Some of those deals are advantageous for the Party. Of course Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa put deals. If not for the 2005 North-Western voting strike, Mr. Mahinda would have lost. So that deal is a good deal for us no. If not for that deal, Prabhakaran would be living today. Some deals are of course good no. When Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa became President, we had a government where we couldn't even appoint a Speaker. That's why W.J.M. Loku Bandara became the Speaker. But Mr. Mahinda executed a deal and managed to get 16 from the UNP. Those of course are not decisions of the Central Executive Committee. Of course everybody in history carried out deals. But Mr. Maithripala Sirisena has not carried out a deal for even his advantage. That's the difference. You can remember what was there during the past no. Wasn't it Mr. Namal Rajapaksa who tried his hand at a deal with Mr. Mangala Samaraweera earlier? That was not a decision of the Party. But it was on the approval of the Central Executive Committee that it was decided to form a conventional government and to form a 100 Day government for which the support of the SLFP was given. Therefore, it is wrong for Mr. Namal Rajapaksa to think that this Party belongs to Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa or the Rajapaksas.

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa says that no blood is smeared on the hands of the Rajapaksas. As far as I know no blood is smeared on the hands of the Rajapaksas. But wan't it some elements of the united opposition who said that Namal and Basil who are responsible for the defeat of Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa? Some even brought blame on Mr. Basil Rajapaksa saying that he escaped by fleeing. The Rajapaksas means a family who was engaged in politics with a distant vision than Namal. It is Mr. Namal Rajapaksa who speaks without a political temper. The distance between his mouth and anus is not one yard but just an inch. That's why he speaks like that".
