On the 17th election day all Express Highways sans charges for 12 hours
For the convenience of all voters to travel to and from Colombo on the 17th instant on the day of
the election it has been decided to make the express highways free for all vehicles for 12 hours from 6 a.m to 6 p.m.On this day travelling on the express highways are sans charges.In addition it has been decided to allow motor cyclists and three wheelers who are barred from travelling on the Katunayake express way on normal days to travel free of charge for 12 hours from 6 a. to 6 p.m on the election day to facilitate their travelling also sans any levy.
