Sri Lankan wife charged with murder of doctor-husband in Australia -- Update 3

Obscene videos recovered from security files ...

of deceased Doctor Dinendra

Doctor Chamari to be expelled from Australia ...
after being released in July!

The lawsuit relating to the murder by a blow of a hammer on doctor-husband whose Sri Lankan doctor-wife, both of whom were living in Australia which incident created a sensation recently is being heard currently at courts in the city of Perth and a number of informative sources are being
revealed in that connection.

What was exposed from information so far covered is that both the couple Doctor Dinendra Athukorala and Doctor Chamari Liyanage had engaged in a bout of alcohol in unison with a 17 year old white-skinned girl and had been indulging in abnormal sexual activities on the night of June 14th 2014 on which date this murder had taken place. On the said date this white-skinned girl had come to the house as a third party on the willingness of the couple. The couple had dropped the girl outside their home during early hours in the following morning and on returning, Chamari who was under the effect of intoxication of whiskey had engaged in an argument in which instance she had lost her temper and ultimately murdered the husband.

Though Chamari says that that she is unable to recall what had happened the following day after being taken into custody she also admits that her marriage with her husband was not a successful one. What she had said was that living with her husband brought upon great pressure on her and that though she had tried six times to separate from him, her husband had prevented it on each such occasion. However, after exposing to courts about her husband's distorted sexual desires, officers conducting the investigation relating to the incident made a check on the post-digital examination on the computer and computer accessories belonging to her husband and digital analyst Ryan Baxton presented a report concerning it to courts last 12th. What he says is that he used 5 computers and some externally connected hard disks of Doctor Dinendra for this investigation. He also revealed that suspicious elements were observed there. He went on to say that on June 24th night, the day of the incident, two laptops of the HP type and Acer type belonging to Doctor Dinendra had been in operation and that even the Google data search was perused. What was displayed there was information relating to Queensland employment and searches about private schools in Darwin and the cost of living in Adelaide. The examiners informed courts that he may have browsed this information because Doctor Dinendra's brother was to arrive in Australia shortly.

Whatever it is, since it provoked suspicion that from time to time for a period close upon 3 hours the doctor had been connected to the computer clandestinely across the VPN system and when checking about it, Doctor Dinendra had deposited some files to the CD Box private account, noted the examiners. They then informed that those were video files with protective coverage where nobody could open or gain access to them and that they contained obscene sexual scenes. Subsequently they forwarded the relevant report to courts in order to arrive at a conclusion about the contents in them; but had refrained from revealing to courts as to what the personal lewd sexual scenes contained therein were.

Prior to this the deceased's wife Chamari had mentioned that Doctor Dinendra had shown a liking to engage in sexual activity with her as husband and wife, videoing it while the 17 year old girl who did not expose her identity mentioned that the doctor had bought a new camera with the motive of taking her into bed and that he had taken steps to video all such proceedings. As such, it also came to be known that the doctor was suffering from a mental condition whereby he desired videoing various private sexual scenes and in viewing them over and over again.

The doctor-wife Chamari who at present is under remand custody for a period of 4 years though is to be released in the year 2018, the Australian judiciary has decided to release her after 2 years next July subsequent to considering her behaviour and also matters revealed from the incident and authorities in that country however are not prepared to grant her Australian citizenship further, after the release. They have also decided to expel her from the country. Whatever it is, Doctor Chamari has appealed that the verdict be revoked.

TNL can be seen 90 percent in the country
-- Shan Wickremasingha

The Asia Cup Cricket Tournament which is being relayed these days in Sri Lanka is broadcast across the TNL channel. TNL it is understood is a channel which is difficult to watch for most viewers across independent rupavahini frequencies and a programme such as a
cricket match which demands being broadcast across such a channel has been subjected to debate. Sole Rights for broadcasting all cricket fixtures where Sri Lanka was to participate was handed over to the CSN Channel by the previous regime and in that instance too there was a dispute to the effect that CSN could not be seen anywhere in the country. CSN was alleged as the channel of Mahinda's son and that TNL happens to be the channel belonging to Ranil's brother.

The question that has cropped up in this instance is as to what extent the rights of broadcasting a money-generating programme such as cricket being based on this type of political attachments. Whatever it is, TNL Chairman Shan Wickremasingha speaking over the morning programme of Isira Radio belonging to them stated a few days ago that TNL is clearly visible to 90 percent of people in Sri Lanka and that broadcasting the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament creates no problem. He further revealed that experts who came here from Japan and Germany provided this percentage of figures.

Finally he went on to say that those who make such complaints would be suffering from a defect in the spectacles they are using and that if their glasses are cleaned with toothpaste and then view TNL ... then there would be no problem.

Suspicion that Blackout which hit the country ....

a sabotage

The Blackout which prevailed from 2 in the afternoon today for a period of two or three hours right round the island was explained by the Electricity Board as a technical fault that occured as a result of a bolt of lightening. However, the government has focused her
attention on the fact as to whether it really is the truth, it is reported.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasingha and Minister for Power and Energy, Mr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya have instructed the authorities to find out whether this incident of electricity breakdown has been caused because of an act of sabotage. The order given further states to investigate whether a group of saboteurs are behind this act and had engaged in this sabotage with the intention of bringing the government into disrepute and chagrin in the presence of the public. A special committee too was appointed under the leadership of the Minister for Power and Energy, Mr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya this evening in connection with this incident, it was reported.

After the power breakdown at 2 in the afternoon, about two hours later around 4.08 in the evening power was restored in Colombo and adjacent areas while electricity was restored to other areas a short while later. But as a consequence of the electricity breakdown, during that period traffic signals were not functioning and this state of affairs resulted in a severe traffic congestion and since a rainy atmosphere too prevailed, the traffic congestion became aggravated. Under these conditions thousands of employees had to face severe difficulties, it was understood.

Though the Electricity Board mentioned that there was an islandwide blackout because of a technical fault which resulted in lightening striking the 33000 feet voltage network system which had been transmitted to Colombo across Laxapana Hydro-power station to Upapola in Polpitiya, it also disrupted other power lines as well and the government is thinking twice as to whether it actually was the genuine reason.

Schoolboy rejected by school over HIV suspicion -- Update

Schoolboy isolated as being HIV afflicted ....

finally gets school

But unable to proceed further

Because of a suspicion that villagers had regarding a father of a certain child in Kuliyapitiya area supposed to have died as a result of AIDS, the child was rejected by a number of schools when he was to be admitted on the assumption that he too had been
infected by AIDS and as a consequence the child's mother had started a protest in front of the eduction office, as was reported recently. Though education authorities tried to get a school for the child during the past week, the child concerned is now faced with an even worse predicament.  It is that parents of all children in the classroom to which the child was admitted had taken steps to remove their children. The parents had even gone to the extent of informing the principal of the school that they would be taking home all students  of the school.

Under these circumstances though it was a case of true happiness for being able to admit the child to a school,  nevertheless the parents had isolated this child and his teacher in these circumstances which only displayed the ignorance of those parents, so clearly. The fact that those parents refused to accept evidence of the medical certificate that the child concerned was free from AIDS which actually created an issue in this instance. Even if the said child was affected with AIDS, the aforementioned parents of Kuliyapitiya lacked the knowledge to simply understand that it would under no circumstance be contagious to other children in the school as such.

The 6 year old child of a mother of 2 children living a short distance away from Kuliyapitiya town had to face this most unfortunate tragedy. She had stated that she has had to face social discrimination in this manner because of a rumour that spread around that her husband died after suffering from AIDS three months ago. This is what she said: "It's not true that my husband got sick and died from AIDS. Those days so many stories went round. The Montessori teacher took steps to check my son's blood samples for the purpose of releasing us from this very embarassment and blame. What is very clearly stated in the child's blood report is that he is totally free from AIDS. It however was not strong enough to put a stop for these rumours going the rounds or to solve this problem. Though I approached about ten schools to admit the child, it was futile. It was after that that I had to start a protest in front of the Kuliyapitiya Education Office. When that came over the news the educational authorities mediated and managed to get a school for the child. But even on the very first day the parents took action to take the other children out of the school. The child thus became isolated in the classroom. What the principal says is that preparations are underway now for the other 186 children too to be removed from school. The child now has no father ... no school. Stories also have already gone round. I am helpless!"

Minister Rajitha who underwent bypass surgery ....

amidst various talks about 'Apalaya' of those who took prominence in Yahapalanaya ... convalescing

Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna who was subjected to a sudden heart attack was admitted to Lanka Hospitals, Colombo and on that occasion the necessity to undergo a heart surgery was mentioned and the doctors had mentioned
that it could be performed locally or overseas. Later he was taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for a bypass operation and in that instance the media expressing negative opinions had spread numerous rumours about his sickness while his media secretary had stated that the Minister was not suffering from any grave health problem. Whatever it is, nowhere was it mentioned that a bypass surgery was to be conducted.

In the meantime, photographs portraying the Minister spending his time in a happy mood and enjoying his birthday were released across the social media to confirm and give the impression, 'here he is ... in good condition'. Such a reflection was published as if to say 'no ... no' to opposing opinionists who gave the impression that those who took prominence in establishing the Yahapalanaya Government are in for a trend of getting sick and dying.

Whatever that is, the Minister of Health, Mr. Rajitha Senaratna currently is in good health, close news sources had reported. His surgery was performed last Friday and both President Maithripala and Field Marshal Mr. Sarath Fonseka had gone to Singapore to visit him last Saturday.
