Wele Suda although pretended not to know to write could write and read very well
Meepola Vidanalage Samantha Kumara alias Wele Suda had pretended that he uneducated and cannot read and write.But this was completely disproved when a case against him was taken up on the 31st instant.
At a court case at the Chief Magistrate courts he had filled a certain form and disproved this false fact.This had occurred and disclosed by the PC attorney at law M/s Suharsha Herath Jayaweera questioned the suspect Wele Suda in a case when he was in the suspects box.The senior attorney at law had seen his signature placed on a document which had proved that he could write and read although he had pretended on early occasions he is illiterate.
It is learnt from the senior attorney at law PC M/s Sudrasha Hearth Jayaweera at the proceedings of the case was heard there had been a document written and signed by Wele Suda at a time a parcel of heroin was released.From this it is evident that he is not illiterate.
The Chief Magistrate Preethi Padman Surasena postponed the case to the 08th of next month.
