Dead body of Kotmale youth who disappeared after going for a swim ... recovered
The dead body of a young boy who had gone for a swim yesterday (01) in the company of 3 friends in North Madakumbura Oya which supplies water to Kotmale Reservoir was recovered round 10.30 this morning (02), Dimbula Pathana Police say.
It is a 20 year old boy by the name of Thyagaraj
Vinodan living in Dimbula top section belonging to Dimbula Police area who had died after drowning in this manner. The corpse of the victim was brought ashore by Nuwara Eliya Police Lifeguard Unit with the assistance of Dimbulagala Police officers and villagers in the area.
