Husband sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for five years for harassing wife with unrestrained sex

It is reported that a husband 42 years old a resident of Beddewelawatta Makehelwala has been sentenced to  five years rigorous imprisonment and fined a sum of rupees five thousand  for harassing his wife continuously with unrestrained sexual activities by the Kegalle area chief Magistrate Dammika Ganepola

After the case was heard at the Mawanella Magistrates courts the Attornet General had via another heavy charge sheet to the Kegalle Magistrates courts.The plaintiff of this case had been the legal wife
37 year old of the convicted husband.She had made a complaint to the police almost six months ago. That is on 30th June 2016.She had stated that they have three children.The eldest is daughter 10 years old.The second is a son 9 years old and the third is a daughter 6 years and all are attending school.She had added that she is from Dankotuwa and had met the husband via friends.Had  got married legally at the police station. She had described how his unlimited sex activities which cannot be published in the media.He is a mason at the Pinnawela elephant orphanage.He is addicted to liquor and drugs.

On behalf of the Attorney General the case had been filed by president's council Miss Nishara Jayaratne and for the defended also a attorney at law appointed by the government had appeared.
