President offers a school to students for whom Thevarapperuma was prepared to sacrifice his life
The other day the deputy minister Palitha Thaevapperuma had attempted to get 09 students admitted to a primary school in Meegastenna area in Matugama in a controversial
manner..This matter had been resolved with the intervention of the President Maithripala Sirisena.These 09 children had gained admission to St.Mary’s College Matugama.The deputy minister Palitha Thevarapperuma had helped in the admission process on the 20th instant it is reported.
At this occasion the deputy minister had alighted on to the bonnet of a jeep vehicle had escorted the 09 children with his supporters who had followed his vehicle.
The group had carried a banner condemning the action of the minister of education western province concerning the admission of these 09 children.
