A Sister and Nurse at the Lady Ridgeway children's in a clash for recording gossip
It is reported that a complaint has been received at the Borella police station in regard to a clash with fists between a Sister and a Nurse attached to the ward 13 of the Borella Lady Ridgeway Children's
hospital. In this regard broad investigations have commenced.It is learnt had taken place whilst the Sister and Nurse were in the ward looking after the children in this ward
It is also reported by the police that the Nurse had received injuries by way of bruises,had been admitted to the National hospital for treatment.
It has revealed from the ongoing investigations that the Sister the head nurse had kept a tape recorder to record the conversations of the subordinate nurses in the lunch room. he Nurse under the Sister Nurse had seen the tape recorder which had been active had handed over to an official of the lady Ridgeway children's hospital.
After coming to know of this the Sister had argued with the Nurse in the process had injured the hand of the Nurse,the police has revealed via a complaint made by the Nurse.In the mean time the Sister had made a complaint to the police that she had stolen her tape recorder.
In this regard investigations are been conducted in regard to the complaints made by the Sister and the Nurse.
In this regard on the instructions of the head quarters Inspector of the Borella police Pragathi Lakmini Sub Inspector Dissanayake ,police constable Munasinghe ( 32430) are making further investigations.
