It is reliably known that during the budget debate 04 Members of the opposition had shown signs of joining the government ranks and it is suspected that one of them is to be a Gunawardena.It is also reported that one Gunawardena or both Gunewardenas, Dinesh and Bandula could be two of the Members of opposition who are hsupposed to join the government and they in that event would be given ministerial portfolios.
It is also learnt that they have been identified as those two who had taken the initiative to make Mahinda to stand up again exercise. It is alos reported that the manner they were smiling when they met President Maithripala Sirisena at the tea party hosted by the Minister of Finance gave a feeling to onlookers that they were opting and willing to join the government ranks.
