Eleven female students  in a school had pricked their hands with a safety pin in a similar manner to bleed

The Police intelligence service personnel has commenced an inquiry into an incident pertaining to eleven  female students in a school in Kebitigollewa,Rathmalgahawewa area where they had pricked their hands with safety pins until bleeding during school hours. This incident had taken place on the 15th instant, the day before yesterday.
The intelligence officers of the Police had commenced inquiries into the incident to find out the reason for them to have done this pricking in the same manner to cause bleeding.

From the initial investigations had revealed that one female student who had participated in a tuition class in Medawachchiya town had commenced this act first after she had been defeated in a love affair it is reported. She had pricked her left hand with the safety pin to bleed and it is said that she had done to remember the sweet memories of the love affair she was having.The other female students it is learnt had followed her after that by pricking their left hands with the safety pins.

After the reason was revealed the Principal of this school had  severely warned these female students it is reported.
