Dinesh Chandimal scores his 05th Test hundred

Dinesh Chandimal made his 05th Test match hundred when he batted against the touring West Indies in the first Test that is being played  at the Galle International cricket stadium. This achievement he had

achieved by facing 196 balls.

To date Dinesh Chandimal has participated in 22 Tests and in addition to the 05 hundreds has scored eight half centuries.In the Test match against India played at the same venue in August this year Chandimal scored an unbeaten 162 runs.Chandimal was dismissed for 151 runs when he mistimed a cover drive and was caught for 151 runs compiled in 298 balls.In the process he passed the 2000 run mark in his short Test career.
