Warrant issued to apprehend Galagodaaththe Gnanasara thera

For two cases that were to be heard involving the General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Organisation Ven,Galagodaaththe Gnanasara thera,for not appearing before the Fort  Chief
Magistrate courts,the Chief Magistrate had  ordered to issue an open warrant.

The two cases against him had been one for the manner he had acted and spoken at a media briefing on 12-04-2014  by speaking provoking religions and the second is again at a media briefing on the 09-04-2014 when at a meeting by the name national task force, he had obstructed by making unwanted statements.

For both these cases the thera had been allowed bail and when both cases were called for hearing Galgodaththe Gnanasara had ignored the summons issued to him. As a result the Chief Magistrate at the Fort Magistrate courts had ordered to send warrants to him.
