Because of 10 unruly students the Balapitiya National school forced to close down
The bad behaviour of about ten very unruly students had been reported to the related authorities of the Revatha National School in Balapitiya.As the related education authorities of the school had not taken any action teachers in the Revatha National school had reported sick as a result the school had to be closed on the 08th instant.
Hence the students who had come to school had gone back home. The Ambalagoda zonal educational office and the Police had failed to take action against the complaints made about these unruly students it is reported. On this day only one teacher and the Principal had reported for duty.
The Deputy Principal, Sarath Upali Dodangoda has added that these unruly students about ten or more in number even go to the extent of forcibly taking the money brought by the students in lower classes.
It is reported that even when the parents of these unruly students are summoned to the school they do not come and meet the teachers and the Principal.The Deputy Principal has also added that the authorities of the Zonal educational office, Ambalangoda had conveyed to those teachers who sent sick notes that the teachers should be able to handle and control the students. It is for this reason they had reported sick.
