A man caught for peeping into a bedroom of a woman asked to apologise by clasping both hands inside courts
In the Kiribathgoda area a man had been caught when he had peeped into a room where a woman had been sleeping in the night. A complaint had been lodged in the police after he was identified and the incident had been referred to courts.
The suspect had pleaded guilty when the case filed was taken up for hearing. The courts had ordered the suspect to clasp both hands and to apologise to the lady inside the courts itself.
The suspect has been a 45 year old man and had been ordered by the Mahara Chief Magistrate Mahinda Prabath Ranasinghe and the order had been given as he had pleaded guilty for the offence.The suspect had been warned and with the consent of the complainant the case had been settled with this punishment to the suspect.
The Magistrate had said to the suspect not to take revenge and it is not like going to supermarkets constantly when the customer is paid bonuses. In the event if he comes to court again no such bonuses would be given and even bail also would be refused he had added
The suspect had paid respects to the Magistrate also and left the court premises without even looking back it was mentioned.The Police Sergeant of the Kiribathgoda Police Thilakanath 22594 had filed the case at the Mahara courts after the complaint was lodged.
