The New Chief Minister Wayamba Province assumes office
The former Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara was appointed to the parliament as he had contested and won a seat in the recently concluded general election.
He had to relinquish his post.For the post of Chief Minister made vacant Dharmasiri Dasanayake was elected. The photograph shown below shows the manner he assumed duties as the new Chief Minister of Wayamba provincial council.
