made by many other Members had recommended the Member of parliament for Kalutara district Kumara Welgama who fetched the highest number of preferential votes to accept this post of the leader of the opposition.The former President and Member of parliament had said that there is matter if any UPFA Members join with the government under Ranil Wickremasinghe saying that he is a nice person and harmless and one who does not at take revenge.
