Three Ministers are to be sworn in first today
As three ministers have to attend to three international summits without any delay they were forced to be sworn in today the 24th instant.’They are Mangala Samaraweera, Wijedasa Rajapaksa and D.M Swaminathan.
All thre ministers were sworn in the respective ministries they had functioned in the previous government .Mangala Samaaraweera as the Minister of foreign affairs, D.M Swaminathan as the Minister of resettlement and rehabilitation while Wijedasa Rajapaksa as the Minister of Justice.
Mangala Samaraweera is to travel to Geneva for the United Nations Human Rights commission summit, while D.M Swaminathan is to participate in a international summit on the displaced refugees while Wijedasa Rajapaksa is to participate in a international summit on labour relations.
It is learnt that they were all to receive these positions as Ministers and hence sworn are to be sworn in today.
