To seek political revenge unknown persons had come to Inoka Sathyangani’s house to harass her:

It is reported that the famous film directress Inoka Sathyangani who assisted the common candidate and also lent her hand to ‘Pura Wesi Balaya’ organisation in order to defeat the previous government regime of Mahinda Rajapaksa had been taken revenge from her by some unknown persons in different ways.

The other day some people had entered her house and had taken away a bull that was tied in her compound. She has lodged a complaint in the police station for this theft.

On another day when she was returning home after a ‘Pura Wesi Balaya’ meeting a three wheeler had obstructed the passage  of her vehicle but they had avoided the three wheeler and had returned home safely. This incident too had been reported to the police.

Today she wanted to leave for the final ‘Pura wesi Balaya ‘ meeting in early morning.These unknown persons had untied a bull tied in her grden. If these people want to take cattle there are more than enough  stray cattle on the streets just loitering. This had been done to make her fear she had said.

In the year 2005 the same thing had happened to women like me, Anoja and Chandralekha. The motive is to frighten us as we are ladies. Now police is making continuous patrolling of her house.
