When sending wishes on June 8th birthday ... the Best Friend on earth for Shalani was ... Dasun!

When Shalani was publicising that teledrama in the social media she took precaution in exchanging photos portraying her and Dasun for fearing rumours

going round. Maybe for that very reason on most occasions she had exchanged photos of her and Dasun appearing in the company of their friend Thusitha.

This affair was known to Dinakshi who incidentally was a very good friend of Shalani in her own field. According to information, none of them were aware that Dasun was a married man. In the process, Dasun's birthday fell on last June 8th and Shalani that day had had posted the comment ; Happy birthday ... my best friend in the world", accompanied by several photos where she was closely attached to Dasun. A fan who made a response to this had asked "Why  now isn't the best friend Dinaksh?"

By that time Dasun - Shalani romance had blossomed even deeper; but everything took a right about turn exactly a month later, in the month of July. As mentioned in a previous article, that day sometime back Shalani happened to ask the question 'Can people make deceptions like this and live in falsehood?' after coming to know about Dasun's marriage.

The issue which started between the two of them thus was dragged for about 2 months and it appears that it led to the final unfortunate ending with Dasun taking leave of his life.
