Cabraal challenges Ranil for an open public debate
Today a media briefing had been held at the
auditorium of the Public library in Green path. The former governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal had given a challenge to the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe to come for an open public debate on matters that had taken place during thr tenure of his at the Central Bank and on the activities that had taken place since his resignation on the 08th January his year.The debate called for is for the former governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal to explain as there have been constant talks on the irregularities in the issue of Central Bank Treasury bonds which had caused huge loss of money to the government.
The governor Cabraal needs the Prime Minister himself to come for the debate instead of sending any representatives.
