Three wives produce marraige certificate to claim the body of a person killed in motor accident

The wives all legal have produced  valid marraige certificates to the Gampaha additional Magistrate on the 15th instant claiming the body of a person who had died in a motor accident.

The additional magistrate had advised to have a funeral which would not bring any disrepute to his
children and asked them to present in courts on the 16th instant.The additional magistrate Lalith Kannagara in this way had told the three wives.

It is reported that near the first mile post of Yakkala-Kirindiwela road  44 year old Wakirigalagedara Sarath Bandara had died in a mishap when riding his motor cycle on the early morning of the 13th instant.

The motor cycle in was riding on had gone off the road and struck a lamp post .The rider had succumbed to his injuries after he was admitted to hospital..

After the postmortem held at the Gampaha hospital  on the 14th instant three wives had come forward to claim the body.Hence on the 15th the police have reported the case to the Gampaha courts while the body was kept in the mortuary of the Gampaha hospital.

It is reported via the marraige certificates the deceased had married one woman in the year 1996 Kotuwella, Rambukkana and subsequently marries two other women in year 2005 from Mahawathenna,Udagalawatta Deraniyagala and Malwathuhiripitiya,Ambagaspitiya Gampahaall legally.It is said and reported that he has 06 children with each wife having two children.It is learnt that all three families had been well looked after by him according to court authorities.

The wife at Ambaspitiya who was married for ten years has made a plea from the magistrate to allow the corpse to be brought to home at least for one hour.The verdict is to be delivered by the additional magistrate Lalith Kannagara in this regard on the 16th instant.
