Jayamanne sits on Dilrukshi's chair
The President's council Sarath Jayamaane received the letter of appointment as the new CGeneral of the bribery and corruption unit in the morning of the 10th instant from the President Maithripala Sirisena.
President's council Sarath Jayamanne has around 25 years experience in the Attorney General's
department and has held the position as additional Solicitor General prior to this new appointment.He has a diploma in forensic medicine from the Sri Jayawardenapura university and has a post graduate diploma from the Oxford university .He has qualified in practical law and has been chiefly instrumental in introducing the telephone DNA detection method to the country.
