With increasing threats Wigneswaran seeks more security
The Member of Parliament the general secretary of the of the Tamil National Alliance Mavei Senadiraja has urged the the opposition leader R Sambandan to quickly offer a full guard to the Chief Minister of Northern Province CV Wigneswaran .
This is because CV Wigneswaran has attributed to the
fact that southern communal factions are attempting to take his life on the pretext of the LTTE.This he had conveyed via aletter to the leader of the opposition. Mavei Senathiraja has revealed that if Wigneswaran is subjected to death threats it is a huge issue.Hence by writing and complaining to the President Maithripala Sirisena and the Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara they intend obtaining protection to him and to expand his security unit.In addition Mavei Senathiraja has requested to find the factions who have threatened him and to arrest them and be punished.
