The CID who had cordoned SAITM to find Thajudeen's bones had found some unknown bones
During the ongoing investigations into findings of the cause of death of Rugger player Wasim Thajudeen certain body bones had been found missing.In this respect the judiciary medical officer Dr Ananda Samarasekera had been
subjected to criticism the other day in courts.In this regard the members of the medical student's union had complained to the police that the present Vice Chancellor of the SAITM private medical college Dr Ananda Samarasekera had hidden the bone parts within the SAITM premises.
Accordingly in terms of a search warrant obtained from the Chief Magistrate a group of officers from the criminal investigation department had gone to the SAITM laboratory today the 03rd instant to search them..
The officers of the CID had revealed that they have found 26 body parts.However it has not been ascertained whether these belong to Thajudeen or to any other person. Rugger player Wasim Thajudeen's death had occurred on 17th May 2012.
