Lanka motor cyclists association cautions riders to wear helmets indicating the volume of damage that could be caused
The President of the Lanka motor cyclists association Chirantha Amarasinghe has advised the motor cyclists to wear helmets from the 1st September where they have indicated the areas of the head that could be damaged in the event of an accident.On these new helmets they have drawn diagrams
showing the extent of damage that could be made in the event of an accident.There are other factors that need to be adhered to like the size of the helmet,the security belt to be tight should be made aware to the riders.The President of the motor cyclists association Chirantha Amerasinghe also have cautioned that several riders have in the past had met with accidents causing injuries to their faces which had made them as permanently handicapped.In that aspect they should be aware of the consequences he had added.
