FOR UPFA NOMINATIONS FROM KURUNEGALA
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who was kept in suspense as to whether he would be given
nominations from the Alliance and it has now been solved and it is understood that he has placed his signature in the voting list as candidate for member of parliament from Kurunegala.On this occasion it was confirmed at the news conference held by the Mahinda segment. Whatever it is, the crisis of the UPFA - SLFP nominations issue has still not come to a close. The reason for this is that President Maithripala is adhering to the strong decision that it is not a case of Mahinda but not granting nominations to some colleagues of Mahinda.
