Tourist from Paris who had assaulted a female employee in a Negombo hotel remanded
A tourist from Paris who had booked into a hotel in Negombo has accused a female employee of the hotel had assaulted her mercilessly and dragged her from the top floor to the bottom floor accusing her of pilfering his money.
When he was produced by the Negombo police to the Negombo Chief Magistrate Ruchira Weliwatta had ordered him to be remanded.
Sheshan Guke is the name of the 45 year old Paris national who was ordered to be remanded. The Officer in Charge of the Negombo police Chief Inspector of police Samantilaka Weliwita and the Officer in Charge of the child and women’s unit of the Negombo police PD Lakmali had lodged the complaint to the Chief Magistrate Negombo.
In the Negombo, Eththukala area a Paris couple booked into a tourist hotel. A female employee had come to clean the room and when she went to another room to clean the couple had come and scolded her and asked where the money that was in the room. When she denied of any offence the Paris national had assaulted her and dragged her from the upper floor to the ground floor causing injuries to her.
