Water bills to go up after the VAT increase

After the VAT component was increased by the government from 11% to 15 % the water bills are also to be increased in relation to the VAT increase by 4 % was  announced by the related authorities of the Water Supply and Drainage Board.

This increase would take affect from the 02nd of May as announced by the government.Accordingly a high official of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board had confirmed this increase effective from the 02nd of May as announced by the government sources.
