Dimo sheds tears on Kandy stage pleading not to break the party

The former Prime Minister DM.Jayaratne had said this on the 25th instant during the SLFP working committee meeting held at the Earl's Regency hotel in Kandy ,chaired by the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and the General Secretary of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance Mahinda Amaraweera.
The former Prime Minister DM.Jayaratne had said further that:
On the 2nd September 1951 the Sri Lanka Freedom Party had been formed by the late SWRD.Bandaranaike with a group of seniors and he had been one of the initial members and among them he is the only surviving member of the SLFP. He had added that in would expire in the near future but the Sri Lanka Freedom party should exist.
He had reiterated that the party who loved the members and who served the members should be protected.While shedding tears he had said the all three leaders who are in the forefront should take steps to protect the party.
The former Prime Minister DM.Jayaratne had said during his address that Mahinda Rajapaksa, Maithripala Sirisena and Chandrika Kumaratunga should shed all differences and unite to safeguard the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
