Sri Lanka beats UAE in T 20 in ASIA CUP tournament
In the first match Sri Lanka played in the ongoing T 20 Asia cup been played in
Bangladesh today the 25th instant Sri Lanka became victorious but only by a slender margin of 14 runs.The UAE skipper having won the toss elected to field. Sri Lanka in the allotted 20 overs sored 129 for the loss of 8 wickets. Dinesh Chandimal top scored with 50 runs.
In reply the UAE were 115 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sri Lanka won the encounter by a slender margin of 14 runs.
Lasith Malinga the skipper making his appearance after a short rest was the most successful bowler claiming 4 wickets and was named 'man of the match'
