Presidential secretariat and Prime Minister's offices to Kotte
The Minister of western province and mega polis development Patalie Champika Ranawaka has announced that there is a suggestion to shift the Presidential secretariat ,President's house, the Prime Minister's office and Prime Ministers residence to a location around the parliamentary complex at Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte.This had been said by Minister Patalie Champika Ranawaka in Parliament yesterday.
The Minister had also added that several other government offices would also be shifted to the same area. He also had added that a challenge would be made to India's 'Mumtas' city after the proposed port city project complex is completed.
It was added by the Minister that even developed countries like Dubai and Singapore has no air city but an air city would be constructed 18th mile post in Katunayake up to Minuwangoda .The Minister had also added that a technology city would be developed from Malabe to Homagama.
The Minister had also added that Horana, Raigama and Mirigama would be transformed in to technical cities. He had said that Avissawela would be made in to a agricultural city,Baduraeliya as a environment friendly city while Negombo and Aluthagama as tourist attraction areas.
The Minister Patalie Champika Ranawake had also said that Kadawatha, Kaduwela, Kottawa and Bandaragama would be made as administrative cities.
