Mahinda should be brought back to power-Somawansa
The former leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and the founder leader of the new
party,"Janatha Sevaka Pakshaya",Somawasna Amerasinghe has added to a daily newspaper that in the context of the position in the country when roots are developing to divide the country it is appropriate that the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa be given to rule the country again.Somawansa Amerasinghe had reiterated that Mahinda Rajapaksa when he was the President was able to defeat terrorism and the attempts to divide the country and as there are attempts that this situation is to erupt again and it is appropriate that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is brought back to power to combat this threat as he is the only leader who is suitable for it.
Somawansa Amerasinghe who joined hands with Wimal Weerawansa had expressed these views to the daily newspaper. According to him the country has fallen into a precipice and to save the country is to form a united opposition he has added further.
