Undergraduates of the Kelaniya University surrounds the administrative complex
As a result of a severe protest by the undergraduates of the Kelaniya University there has been a
tensed situation in the University premises.The undergraduates had surrounded the administrative complex of the Kelaniya University which house the staff of the University.As a result the lecturers and members of the staff are not in a position to come out the administrative complex. The protest is for obtaining redress for 21 demands.One demand has been to withdraw the ban on some students from attending lectures and the other to construct a new faculty for modern technology in the University.
