Three containers in the Avant Garde vessel sealed

The Avant Garde vessel whish was captured by the Sri Lanka vessel  was handed over to the Sri

Lanka criminal investigation department to carry investigations. The CID had sealed 03 containers where arms and ammunition had been stored.

Within them the CID had found  a total of 816 automatic firearms. They had been identified as T 56 and 84 S fire arms.In addition the CID had found over 2 lakhs of ammunition. The CID is conditioning with the investigations it is reported.
