Wimal gets isolated at Swarnavahini

It is reported that for a political programme last Tuesday at the television channel Swarnavahini as the leader of the National Freedom Alliance, Member of Parliament Wimal Weerawansa was participating the government Members had abstained from participating.

The topic that was to be debated  was on the proposals that were made at the Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland,at the United National annual sessions. It is reported that the Member of Parliament Wimal Weerawansa had volunteered to speak on his own at this debate.

The female media presenter had conveyed to Member of Parliament that her television channel could not be held responsible for the absence of any members from the government side.What she could only convey is that representatives from the government would not be participating.
